The workshop was held at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBC), a couple of minutes walk from SAMSI.

The goals of the workshop were

  1. To reunite the participants from all active working groups in the SAMSI LDHD Program.
  2. To report and to review the progress of the working groups.
  3. To foster continuation of the research of the working groups beyond the SAMSI LDHD Program.

SAMSI will provide poster presentation boards and tape. The board dimensions are 4 ft. wide by 3 ft. high. They are tri-fold with each side being 1 ft. wide and the center 2 ft. wide. Please make sure your poster fits the board. The boards can accommodate up to 16 pages of paper measuring 8.5 inches by 11 inches.
