For Research Fellows

Research Fellows are visitors at SAMSI for periods of up to one year, and are associated with the individual SAMSI research programs. Support always includes office space and facilities, and can include various types of financial support. To explore possibilities as a Research Fellow, use the contact addresses for the individual programs, or contact Richard Smith (rls@samsi.info) indicating the SAMSI research program in which you are interested and describing your interest in the area.

New Researcher Fellowship Opportunities for 2012-13

SAMSI is soliciting applications from statistical and mathematical scientists for four New Researcher Fellowships, to begin September 2012 or January 2013. New Researchers should have received their Ph.D. within the previous 8 years. Members of under-represented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.

SAMSI New Researcher Fellows will participate in one or more of the year's research programs. Appointments will ideally be for one year, although appointments for one semester can be considered. The available salary, at most $20,000,  is ideal for sabbatical visitors with partial support from their home institutions.
