Summer 2014: The International Surface Temperature Initiative: July 8-16, 2014

LOCATION: National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), 1850 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, CO

This workshop will take place over one and a half weeks. There will be a very limited number of introductory lectures to introduce the subject and to set up working groups. The rest of the time will be devoted to intensive study of climate data and statistical methods within working groups, including testing out specific ideas, exploring the historical temperature record, and examining synthetic datasets where known problems have been introduced.
