SAMSI is a co-sponsor of this meeting and there will be a session with talks connecting to key areas of interest. In particular, one of the invited speakers for the meeting is Dmitri Chklovskii (Simons Center for Data Analysis) who will be talking about his research on problems in neuroscience. (There are also other invited speakers on systems in ecology and biology, networks and other problems.)
All participants are encouraged to actively participate by contributing poster presentations or short talks (slots for talks are limited).
