This workshop was held on October 26-27, 2012 at SAMSI. The program began at 9:30 AM on Friday, October 26, and was completed by 12 noon on Saturday, October 27.

Description

As part of its Education and Outreach Program for 2012-2013, the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI) offered a two-day undergraduate workshop on topics of current interest in statistics and applied mathematics. In addition to an overview of current and planned SAMSI Research Programs, the program topic

  • Computational Methodology for Massive Datasets

was covered in some depth.

SAMSI reimbursed appropriate travel expenses as well as provided food and lodging.
