Hyungsuk Tak

I am a post-doctorate fellow at SAMSI, having completed my PhD in Statistics at Harvard University. I have explored theoretical work on Bayesian-frequentist unification, applied work in Astrophysics, and computational work on Markov chain Monte Carlo methods for multimodality. Specifically, my research interests are:
– Bayesian hierarchical modeling with frequency coverage evaluation
– Strong lens time delay estimation in Astrophysics
– A repelling-attracting Metropolis algorithm for multimodality
My webpage is here, my CV is available here, and my blog (in Korean) is here. (Last update on Sep 21, 2016)
