General Information
General InformationThe main goal of this joint Mid-Program SAMSI and MUCM workshop is to report on the progress of ongoing Projects including the discussion of current bottlenecks, possible approaches for their solution, alternative approaches and related issues. Hence, the Workshop is primarily oriented to MUCM and SAMSI participants, especially (but not exclusively) to those in the Methodology and Engineering Methodology working groups (since the focus will be methodological). The format will feature a series of talks, each followed by extended discussion of the issues highlighted by that, and previous, presentations. Selected outside experts in the field will be invited to attend to provide criticism and direction to those who will be presenting research discussions. The workshop will be accessible via WebEx and Teleconference for interested remote participants. New researchers (graduate students, postdocs, and faculty in the early stages of their careers) and members of underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.

Please make reservations at the Radisson as soon as possible. The SAMSI room block for the Radisson is effective until March 19, 2007. After this date, there is no guarantee a room will be available. If you have a change in plans, individual room reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival. Check-in is at 3:00 PM; check-out is 12:00 noon.
