General Information

The Kickoff Workshop will be held September 10-14, 2006, and will focus on clear formulation of the challenges in the area, especially as pertains to the five major research subprograms: Environmental/Ecological Models, Uncertainty in Models of Granular Materials, Engineering Models, Biological Modeling, and Methodology. The workshop will set the stage for the subsequent Program research, through tutorials, talks and discussion sessions designed to focus attention on the key problems to be considered by the subprograms and program working groups.

Program Committee: Susie Bayarri (U. Valencia, Chair), Bruce Pitman (U. Buffalo), Peter Reichert (EAWAG), Tom Santner (Ohio State U.), Darren Wilkinson (Newcastle University).

Application

Online registration is now closed. You may register on-site at the Radisson.
