Surrogate Models - Methodology UQ
This working group focuses on the exploration of properties, utility, and performance of two classes of model surrogates, namely Polynomial Chaos and Gaussian Process surrogates. The study will be done in the context of specific model problems with a range of difficulty involving nonlinearity and dimensionality. Test problems will include both algebraic functions as well as simple ODE/PDE problems.
