Lagrangian Data Assimilation for Two-Layer Point Vortex Systems

I will provide a summary of Lagrangian Data Assimilation results for one-layer and two-layer point vortex systems and parameter
estimations for the vortex properties. The idea is to augment the model with tracer advection equation and to track the correlations between the flow and the tracers via the extended kalman filter.
